This year’s conference will be bigger and better than ever. Our theme is The Arts of Science. We plan two poster sessions in Grand Salon, a presentation space for digital and fine arts in Petite Salon, oral presentations in Del Norte, a BBQ and more!
SRAC will pay for poster printing as long as students submit their posters by the deadline (below).

CI Spectrum and the Center for Integrative Studies invites you to participate in a mini-symposium about social and political implications of depictions of LGBTQ+ characters in the media.
We are accepting all types of art including but not limited to:
- Fine art, digital art, animation, film, multimedia,
- Performance, dance, public reading,
- Writing, creative or scholarly, poetry,
- Group discussion, talk, or activity.

The Student Research Advisory Committee is pleased to announce funding for grants in support of faculty-mentored student research. This might include software purchases, lab expendables, small equipment purchases, studio supplies, purchase of library resources, and other costs associated with a faculty-student collaborative research project.
- Requests must be submitted by faculty
- These funds cannot be used for travel
- Funds can be used to leverage existing resources
- It is unlikely that more than about $2,500 will be granted to a single project.
- The proposal should reflect a realistic cost estimate, even if the cost exceeds $2,500. Support beyond $2,500 is possible, just not likely
To apply for these funds, please complete this short application. The deadline for applications is March 1st. Funding decisions will be made quickly to benefit projects that are in progress. Funds must be used by the end of the fiscal year (June 30th).by
The Student Research Advisory Committee is excited to announce the following dates for participation in the 2017 SAGE Student Research Conference.
Proposal abstracts: Friday, 17 March
Notice of abstract acceptance: Thursday, 30 March
Registration deadline: Monday, 17 April
Poster submission deadline: Monday, 24 April
The conference will be from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday, 6 May on the North Quad with two poster sessions in Grand Salon and oral presentations in Del Norte. Petit Salon will be available for art displays and performances.
Again, we are fortunate to have funds from SAGE Publications to print large format posters as long as they are submitted by the deadline.
